The business district of Quarry Bay is located within this area, and this commercial hub has good public transportation links to surrounding areas.  It is also a major interchange on the Island MTR (Mass Transit Railway) line. Most residential locations within this heavily populated district benefit from having easy access to a good bus, minibus and tram network plus the MTR system.

Taikoo Shing is both a residential and commercial area, and is on the MTR Island line.  The area is mainly a sprawl of residential towers which includes Cityplaza/Taikoo Place, a commercial building and shopping centre.

Braemar Hill as the name suggests, is on a hill and has a selection of residential properties, some with views over the Harbour. Several new residential developments have been built in this area in recent years, but most of the apartments available are older style.
