Located in Diamond Hill, the Nunnery has recently undergone major renovations using only traditional methods. During the multi-million dollar renovation no nails were used, only wooden dowelling and brackets.
 
The Chi Lin Nunnery is a must-see attraction in Kowloon. The 3.2-hectare site, comprising various Buddhist halls, is a living museum of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).
