The headquarters of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) is a modern glass and steel building in the Central, downtown area of Hong Kong. The building was designed by the famous architect Sir Norman Foster and has been one of the major landmarks in Hong Kong since 1985. It houses one of the largest and most powerful financial institutions in Hong Kong and is one the biggest banks in the world today.
